Level 2A: ‘Beginning Your Story’

Short-Form Skills - Learn about the basic building blocks needed to start any story, and how to play around with them to create engagement with your audience.

Learning Points

  • Break down the start of any story into its four main components

  • Practice communicating these components to fellow improvisers

  • Learn how tension influences the engagement & trajectory of your story

Level 2B: ‘Spontaneous Play’

Short-Form Structures - Learn how to play popular short-form improv games! We’ll cover the rules of each game, as well as the storytelling mechanics needed to make them fun for both performers and audiences!

  • Understand the four different types of mechanics that help make short-form improv hilarious

Have a taste of performing short-form improv games on stage. We’ll run through the standard process of rehearsals and game curation, so you can experience your debut improv show in front of family and friends!

  • Perform a short-form improv showcase
