Community
Be part of our haven for spontaneous storytellers!
It takes a community to raise an improv scene.
Here at LIT, we want to ensure that Singapore has a safe space for local improvisers to practice and share the joy of their favourite craft!
Here are just some of the many activities you can join as a Singaporean improviser!
IMPROV JAMS
Clock in some reps to keep your improv muscles warm at our jamming sessions! Unlike classes, jams are communal events where attendees can choose what improv activities they want to practice or experiment with.
IMPROV FORUMS
For more robust discussions, we also host intermittent forums where speakers from within the community can share their thoughts or experiences about related topics of interest!
IMPROV HANGOUTS
Engage with like-minded friends at our social occasions! Be it board games, weekend outings, movie viewings, or anything else in between, we can take a break from improv & enjoy the moment with improvisers!
Thank you to our Patrons of 2025!

Contact us & we’ll direct you to the relevant platforms!
As some of our community activities require knowledge of improvisational theatre & comedy, we may need to verify your improv background before admitting you to community platforms.
That said, some activities won’t require improv experience; such events are more likely to be open to the general public!
-
It depends.
Some of our activities require a minimum understanding of improv (e.g. jams), so your friends might feel lost if they turned up without any context.
Other activities are purely social and don’t involve improv (e.g. board games nights). During these types of events, we welcome improvisers to let their friends tag along!
Ultimately, it’s best to check in the event description if you’re discouraged to bring guests or not.
-
Yes! As long as you’re familair with the basics of improv, we’d be happy to host you at our community activities!
Drop us a message via email or WhatsApp, and we’ll add you to the relevant platforms!
-
We’d be happy to help spread the word if you’re organising an event that improvisers might be interested in!
Contact our team, & we’ll figure out how we can support you!
