In our fortnightly LIT! Taster Sessions, we offer a fun, no-pressure introduction to improvisational theatre! Explore the functional principles of spontaneous storytelling and why they're just as useful in daily life as they are on stage. We'll even guide you through a few simple yet popular games to learn how to put these principles into practice!

Prerequisites:

  • None! No improv or theatre experience needed to attend!

  • Yes, this Taster Session is open to all persons ages 14yo and above, regardless of experience.

    Our coaches will help guide you through all the activities!

  • Most of our attendees for this Taster Session are working adults, so we'd recommend against bringing pre-teen children in case they don't feel comfortable with classmates significantly older than themselves.

  • Sadly not. This Taster Session is only available in English.

  • Sadly not. This Taster Session is only conducted in-person.

  • We recommend coming in loose & comfortable attire.

    Our activities will involve a little bit of physicality, so make sure you can move about freely & avoid restrictive footwear (e.g. no heels).

  • You may wish to bring along a water bottle & writing materials for note-taking, but these are optional!

    As long as you come with an open mind & a willingness to try new things, our coaches will settle the rest!
